Captain Ben

Captain Ben was born in Westerly, RI and has remained a local his entire life. Beginning at a very early age, Capt Ben has had a fishing rod in his hand. Over the years, Captain Ben has fished with many different people and is grateful to have spent many days on the water with local legend Al Golinski. (Skipper Al and his wife Emme hold many IGFA World Records)

Captain Ben's passion for learning from the best, and his love for fishing has resulted in countless hours on the water and he has developed the techniques and skills required to become a professional fisherman.

Captain Ben is certified by the USCG as a fishing captain. When he is not on the water, Captain Ben is an elementary PE and Health teacher in nearby Mystic, CT. He resides in Westerly, RI with his wife.

Fishing the waters of Watch Hill, RI and Fisher's Island, NY, the experienced Capt Ben knows the best locations to catch fish. No matter if the trip consists of avid fishermen, or families with children you can rest assured the day will be filled with fond memories of catching fish! (Capt Ben strongly encourages catch and release fishing.)

All charters are aboard the 19 ft NorthCoast with a 115 HP 4 stroke Suzuki motor and center console. The boat is equipped with USCG approved safety equipment, state of the art electronics, and live well. Capt Ben uses only top of the line graphite rods by St. Croix. The rods are paired up with
Quantom Cabo spinning reels and Avet Conventional Reels.

Bottom line, Capt Ben knows the waters and how to catch fish.
